Halle Berry’s Red Carpet Style Through the Years [PHOTOS]

Halle Berry, born Aug. 14, 1966, is an American actress who rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early aughts. Berry is well known for her dramatic turn in the 2001 film “Monster’s Ball,” for which she became the first African American woman to win the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. She wore a gown by Elie Saab at the 2002 ceremony.
While Berry is known for her transfixing screen presence, her red carpet style throughout the last several years is unmatched. The actress often wears ornately designed gowns that compliment her frame. Berry is also rarely averse to playing with glittering embellishments, patterns and more.
